LEADERSHIP INSIGHT
SUREKH REGHUNATHEN
Director,
Postal Training Centre,
Vadodara
PTC Vadodara witnessed a highly productive and enriching phase during
th
the 4 Quarter (Jan-2026 to March-2026), reflecting a balanced blend of
capacity building, social responsibility and cultural engagement. Demonstrating
strong social commitment, seven Blood Donation Camps were organized with
enthusiastic participation from 220 trainees and staff, highlighting dedication
towards societal contribution alongside institutional excellence.
Under the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) initiative, Traditional Day
celebrated on 20.02.2026 fostered appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage,
while the Mass Shramdaan on 27.02.2026 reinforced values of cleanliness,
teamwork and collective responsibility. Celebrations of Holi and Vasant
Panchami further strengthened unity and inclusiveness across the campus.
To promote experiential learning, heritage visits of Vadodara enabled
trainees to connect with cultural and historical contexts beyond classrooms. On
16.02.2026, Lt. Col. Shidram Jambigi from the Army Postal Service (APS)
conducted an interactive session with PA/SA Induction trainees. The session
offered valuable insights into joining APS, career opportunities, and
professional growth.
Continuing the emphasis on capacity building, Sadhana Saptah (02–08
April 2026) included a webinar, two workshops and a Samuhik Charcha,
focusing on skill enhancement, knowledge sharing and modern work practices.
The ePatrika remains a valuable platform for sharing experiences, best practices
and institutional initiatives, supporting the vision of capacity building and
transformative governance under Mission Karmayogi.
With best wishes.
