LEADERSHIP INSIGHT
MANOJ KUMAR
Director,
Postal Training Centre,
Vadodara
It gives me immense pleasure to present this quarterly edition of the PTC Vadodara e-Patrika,
showcasing the major activities, achievements, and milestones of our institution during the past
quarter. This edition is particularly special to me as it is the first e-Patrika being published after
my joining as Director, Postal Training Centre, Vadodara. I am delighted to share the remarkable
progress made by the Centre through the collective efforts of our faculty, officers, staff, and
trainees.
Postal Training Centre, Vadodara remains committed to nurturing a culture of excellence
through quality training, innovation, and continuous learning. As the Department of Posts
continues to embrace digital transformation and evolving customer expectations, our endeavour
is to equip every trainee with the knowledge, skills, values, and confidence required to deliver
efficient, citizen-centric postal services.
During the quarter, we had the privilege of welcoming Shri Harpreet Singh, Member
(Operations), Postal Service Board, whose interaction with trainees and faculty was highly
inspiring and enriching. Another noteworthy event was the ECR Review-cum-Interaction
Meeting with Branch Postmasters (BPMs), graced by Shri Ganesh Sawaleshwarkar, Chief
Postmaster General, Gujarat Circle. His valuable guidance on ECR, customer service, and
innovative best practices motivated the BPMs to strive for higher standards of performance and
effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
The Centre also celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and observed
Traditional Attire Day under the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) initiative, reinforcing the
importance of wellness while celebrating India's rich cultural heritage. Surrounded by lush
greenery, PTC Vadodara continues to provide a serene, eco-friendly, and learner-centric
environment that supports both professional excellence and holistic development.
This e-Patrika reflects the dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit of everyone
associated with the Centre. I sincerely appreciate the Editorial Team for bringing out this edition
with great care and enthusiasm. I hope this publication serves as both a valuable record of our
journey and a source of inspiration for all. Let us continue to work together with commitment,
professionalism, and a spirit of continuous improvement to build a future-ready workforce for
the Department of Posts.
My best wishes to all trainees and staff for continued success, good health, and excellence in
all their endeavours.
